The
Old Mill Walk, and the Abdet Upper Canyon
Distance: 2.5 kms. Explore ancient terraces,
an abandoned mill, and a rocky canyon with
amazing pools (ideal for a swim) on this
short walk starting in Abdet. |

Distance: approx 4 to 6
kms. Starting in Abdet this delightful walk
follows narrow roads, tracks and paths around
rocky pinnacles with ever changing views. |

walk via Confrides
Distance: 5km. Easy walking, an old mule trail
forms part of this scenic walk to Abdet's twin village

Castle Walk
Distance: 1.5km. A short walk with spectacular
views and impressive rock scenery. Explore
the remains of an ancient castle perched
on an improbable rock peak. |

Distance: 2kms to 12 kms. Four
circular walks that can be linked in various
ways to provide one or more routes with great
variety. Explore the old village of Confrides,
ancient terraces, old mills, and quiet rural

Castle Short Walk and Loop
Distance: 2.2 kms or 7.5 kms (longer
options available). At over 1400 Metres high
the ruins of Serella Castle suprisingly provide
2 pleasant short walks. |

Bernia Circuit and Summit
Distance 8 or 11 kms - A superb mountain circuit
with an optional ascent of this spectaular peaks
highest summit. Visit mountain springs, an ancient
fort and evan a tunnel through the mountain! |

Serella Pinnacles - The Lost World
Distance 8kms - Visit the amazing
pinnacles of Pena Yedra. Although the full circuit
involves some easy scrambling it is possble to
do a return walk to visit this superb area of
rock scenery. Can be extended into a longer
walk with different approaches. |

Sanchet Traverse
Distance 8kms - Sanchet
is almost a hidden mountain. It is composed
of huge fins and butresses with some steep
terraces in between. There are only three possible
ways onto the summit apart from long rock climbing
routes. This
is a challenging mountain walk, although short
in distance. |

Peña Roc Traverse
This
makes a great half day walk with some easy
rock scrambling. It does have a steep descent
but the views from the summit ridge are superb.
It could be made into a longer days walk
by approaching along the quiet approach tracks
near Guadalest. |

Ombria
Solaro Valley Walk
Distance 8 kms - mainly downhill.
Explore a little visited hidden valley with good
views of the rocky ridges of the Serella peaks.
Mainly on tracks with a short section on narrow
footpaths crossing the Barranco de Mancillo. |

Sierra
Aitana Peaks
Distance: 8kms. Unique
ridges, rock crevices and crevasses, snow holes
and mountain scenery are all encountered on this
circuit on the Sierra Aitana. |

Distance:
16kms. Good footpaths and tracks on a journey
through remote tranquil valleys. This full
circuit around the peak of Sanchet provides
an unforgetable day out. |
