Abdet is situated in a perfect location in the Guadalest Valley, which lies inland from Benidorm/Altea. It is easily accessed from several airports (Alicante, Murcia, Valencia and even Madrid).

Climbing

There are many local climbing venues including the Abdet (El Flare crags within walking distance), Echo Valley and Ponoch (20 minutes drive), Guadalest (10 minutes), Pleasure Domes (20 minutes), Lomo de Leon, Serella and many more. Walking

Cycling and Mountain Biking

The roads around the Costa Blanca are a cyclist paradise. visit or cycling section for more information. You can do many good rides direct from the houses.

Shopping and Restaurants

A visit to spain would not be complete without sampling some of the great food and drink on offer. Abdet has a good bar/restaurant, just a short walk from the houses, and there are many more restaurants in the valley. The village has daily deliveries of bread via a bread van, and also several visits each week by fruit, vegetable and meat/fish vans.

There are small shops in Confrides nearby and also bakers and shops in Benimantell and Guadalest, just a short drive away. There are also many goiod supermarkets and restaurants at La Nucia (25 mins drive away).
